Oh my word, this is so good!

The morning of 21/09/22 we launched our iPad for learning event here at Kingswinford Academy.

The event was well received and students were extremely excited to get their new iPads with one student commenting 'Oh my word this is so good!'

Students were then guided on how to set up their iPad with form time sessions being held over the rest of this week to show students the basics on how to use them. Then in computing lessons students will be shown software and skills to get the most of their new iPads.

It was such a lovely event and brilliant to see the students so excited. Several members of staff in school have said the students have been smiling from ear to ear after the event and it was such a good sight to see. We are now looking forward to using them in our lesson and the event has certainly enthused our year 7 students to continue to use their iPads and was a great stepping stone for them to be used effectively in the future.
