Choosing a secondary school means looking at the whole experience: excellent teaching, strong care, opportunities beyond lessons and a culture where students are encouraged to do their best. Results are not the whole story, but they provide important evidence of what a school helps young people achieve.
This summer, Kingswinford Academy achieved an Attainment 8 score of 50.8, the best in our history and the second-highest score in Dudley. It is 6.8 points above the borough average of 44.0.
For local families, that means a high-performing secondary school on their doorstep. It is a result the whole Kingswinford Academy community can feel proud of.
Attainment 8 measures achievement across eight qualifications, including English and maths. It gives families a broad view of how strongly students perform across a balanced range of subjects.
Our improvement matters as much as our position. Our score rose from 46.2 in 2025 to 50.8 in 2026. The proportion of students achieving grade 5 or above in both English and maths rose from 41% to 58.4%.
Behind every figure is a student who worked hard, responded to feedback and kept going. Behind every student is a team of teachers, support staff and family members who believed in their potential.
These results show the Kingswinford Academy of today: ambitious, welcoming and committed to helping every student achieve their best.
