The students behind our record-breaking results

17th September 2026

Our record-breaking GCSE results tell the story of a whole year group that worked with determination, supported one another and made the most of the guidance offered by staff. They also include some truly exceptional individual achievements.

Priya Tamber achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8. Alice Moth achieved six grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 6 and a Distinction*. Mia Williams secured six grade 9s, two grade 8s and a Distinction*. Arpita Nair achieved four grade 9s and five grade 8s.

There were standout performances across subjects too. A quarter of grades in Fine Art were grade 7 or higher. In Drama, one third of students achieved grade 9. In French, more than half of students achieved grade 7 or above.

What makes us proudest is not only the grades. These achievements reflect years of effort from students, encouragement from families and care and challenge from staff.

Priya, Alice, Mia and Arpita are four outstanding examples, but every member of the Class of 2026 has a next step worth celebrating. Some are moving to sixth form, others to college or apprenticeships, and all leave with our belief in what they can achieve next.

To the Class of 2026: thank you for setting such a powerful example. You have made Kingswinford Academy proud.
